Chalfont Line Holidays have been providing quality holidays for slow walkers and wheelchair users since 1980.

Our aim has always been to provide high levels of services and facilities, security, comfort and peace of mind, so that you can enjoy the pleasures of travelling.

Our experience has shown us that our clients need and demand a much higher standard of service and knowledge of their circumstances than what would be offered by standard bulk tour operators

To meet these standards, all our escorted holidays are accompanied by an experienced Tour Manager and we have a large operating staff presence that is there to assist our clients when they need it, enabling clients who require some help to enjoy domestic and international travel with the expert care and assistance of our professional staff.

Here are a few of the main services that we provide:

  • Carefully researched travel preparations for accessibility, such as hotels, cruise ships, aeroplanes, transport, leisure facilities and excursions.
  • Door to Door transport to and from the departure point of the holiday and assistance with luggage.
  • On flying and cruise holidays: attend to check in procedures, assist through security formalities, help to board the aircraft or cruise ship, assist using the toilet facilities on board the aircraft. On arrival at the destination, help with disembarking the aircraft or cruise ship and accessing the wheelchair, assist with arrival procedures and luggage. Transfer to accessible vehicles.
  • Check in and luggage formalities at hotels.
  • Holiday helper for domestic and international travel.
  • Tailor made Personal Assistance Packages with everyday tasks depending upon individual needs.

We at Chalfont Line share a deep commitment to your own personal holiday experience, and hold licences such as (ATOL) Air Travel Organisers' License and (CPT) Confederation of Passenger Transport UK.

Here at Chalfont Line Holidays we are renowned for the high standard of service we provide. This service starts from the moment of your initial enquiry,when making a booking and continues throughout the holiday. It extends from our knowledgeable reservations team through to our operational staff. To us you are not simply a name in the crowd; you are an individual who we will get to know and you us because of our small group sizes. Here at Chalfont Line Holidays, 99% of our bookings are repeat bookings so do not worry if travelling alone; you will enjoy your time away while making some good friends.

We understand that sometimes, you might be worried at the prospect of going on holiday, possibly on your own of for the first time in a while. We would like to put your mind at rest, all our holidays are accompanied by our own staff; their role is to assist you and ensure that you enjoy your holiday with us. They will be on hand to handle the luggage, be a flying or coaching holiday, you will not have to worry about retrieving heavy suitcases, it will all be done for you. On arrival at the specially selected hotels our staff, if you wish, will be available to help you unpack and see that you settle comfortably in your hotel room. This attention will be present throughout the duration of the holiday without invading your space or wishes.

You might be somebody who finds stairs more difficult to ascend and who also may need some general assistance when in your room; all this can be a nuisance which we can take care of, thus enabling you to enjoy your holiday from the start to the finish; this assistance also applies to clients using wheelchairs.

The difference between our Escorted Holidays and those of other tour operators is that our holidays are conducted at a much slower pace and the unique assistance which is available to all our clients. Unique because it is designed to take into account any level of personal assistance that you might require.

Therefore if you require assistance in your hotel room or if you use a wheelchair and need help with getting around please tick the Personal Assistance Package box in the booking form,we will then contact you to ensure that we offer you the best service and personal touch so that the holiday will suit your needs;we will do our best to ensure you enjoy your time away with us. Tell us your requirements and we will do our outmost for the holiday to be tailor made for you.

We are committed to provide excellent quality and high standards,we regularly review hotels and transport facilities for their suitability and continually research new destinations.

Here at Chalfont Line Holidays we do not compromise quality for cost,we do not operate on bulk system, therefore we are unable to obtain the discount prices negotiated by the larger tour operators.

Our holidays are planned with care, consideration and thought, so to enable you, the client, to enjoy your holiday to the full, in addition hotels are selected for the suitability of their location, the comfort they offer, the quality of their catering and the attitude of their staff. Our holidays are one off specially selected departures, nevertheless prices are keen as possible, there are NO hidden extras.

How to Make a Reservation
Once you have decided the holiday of your choice follow these easy steps (1) telephone our reservation team to check availability (2) complete the booking form (3) send the form back to us together with your deposit cheque. If you use a wheelchair you will be required to tick the relevant box, this also applies to those clients requesting the Personal Assistance Package.

It is part of our booking conditions that the appropriate travelling insurance is undertaken. If you wish to take our contracted insurance, the price is shown by each holiday. Although we recommend our travelling insurance if taking out your own we will need a copy of the policy to ensure that it complies with CLH conditions.

A deposit of £300 for all coach and flying holidays or a deposit of £500 for cruises plus appropriate insurance premium must be sent to us together with the booking form, we will then write back to confirm the booking; final payment will be due 12 weeks before departure. We accept personal cheques, MasterCard or Visa; Please note there will be a 2% service charge added to all credit card payments.

Clients who require the Personal Assistance Package will be required to complete the additional form.

Personal Assistance
Chalfont Line Holidays is unique as we offer our clients Personal Assistance Packages at an additional cost. These packages are tailor made to suit your needs, it can include pushing a wheelchair or if you need help of a personal nature.

This assistance will be designed around your needs and requirements.

Clients requesting Personal Assistance will be required to tick the appropriate box. Once we receive your booking form, you will be sent the Personal Assistance Package form for you to complete;we will then contact you, to establish the right assistance package.

The information collected will then be summarised in a Personal Assistance Cost (PAC) which you will be requested to sign. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the PAP cost your deposit will be refunded.

Electric Wheelchairs/Scooters
Chalfont Line Holidays accept electric wheelchairs/scooters on all our holidays; the only requirement is that they must be dry cell battery operated.

If bringing an electric wheelchair/scooter on tour please tick the appropriate box on the booking form.

Please note that for flying holidays it is important that we have the weight of the wheelchair in kilos. In some destinations we can arrange equipment hire at extra cost.
