Day 1: Southampton
Meet the tour manager and the remainder
of the group early afternoon at the docks
in Southampton. The tour manager will
handle all the check-in procedures.
Day 2: At sea
The Grand Princess is a luxurious cruise
ship, with multiple dining options, a Lotus
Spa, an outdoor movie theatre, a casino,
boutiques and much much more.
Day 3: At sea
Day 4: Cadiz ~ (Spain)
Cadiz is the first port of call. The city situated
in southern Spain is a typical Andalusian
city with well preserved historical
landmarks, ancient barrios and attractive
vistas.
Day 5: At sea
Day 6: Alghero ~ (Italy)
Alghero located on the North West coast of
Sardinia still retains its strong Catalan character;
the town centre has a labyrinthine
network of narrow lanes.
Day 7: Rome ~ (Italy)
Today we arrive in the Italian port of Civitavecchia;
board our accessible transport
for a full day guided tour of the Eternal
City, Rome. See some of the world’s most
famous sights, St Peter’s, the Colosseum
and the many squares and fountains that
make this city truly beautiful.
Day 8: Lucca/Pisa ~ (Italy)
Lucca, a walled town in the central Tuscan
region is a secret gem; the town is full of
old churches, little piazzas, towers, pastry
shops and bicycles. In the Duomo you can
find the exquisite marble tomb of Ilaria del
Carretto who died after childbirth in 1405
and Piazza Anfiteatro, an oval square built
on the site of a Roman amphitheatre. Find

its famous Piazza dei Miracoli, Miracles
Square, see the Cathedral, the Baptistery
and the Bell Tower better known as the
Leaning Tower.
Day 9: Cannes ~ (France)
Cannes, one of the best known cities on the
French Riviera and host of the Film Festival
which takes places in March.
Day 10: Barcelona ~ (Spain)
A cosmopolitan city rich in history and culture. During our guided city tour, see Antoni Gaudi’s architectural masterpieces, the Casa Mila and the Sagrada Familia, no other architect has ever had such an influence on a city as Gaudi has had on Barcelona.
Day 11: At sea
Day 12: Gibraltar ~ (UK)
Gibraltar, located at the entrance of
the Mediterranean has been the subject
of repeated conquests and sieges
it has been a British Territory since
1704.
Day 13/14: At sea
Day 15: Southampton
