Chalfont Line has for over 30 years been innovators in accessible transport, and was the first commercial company to operate accessible full size coaches in 1980. Since then many changes have taken place and we are pleased to see more accessible vehicles available.

Once again we retain the lead with the introduction of the FIRST fully accessible electric minibus. This is based on the new Ford Transit Jumbo and will be able to carry up to 16 passengers seated or a combination of wheelchair and seated passengers.

The vehicle has been designed using our 28 years experience in conjunction with our suppliers Zeromissions Ltd. It will have a range of over 100 miles and will reach speeds of 50 mph.

We believe that this vehicle would be ideal for the use of local Councils, PCT's and NHS Trusts and other bodies where the available distance can be utilized. With the ever increasing fuel prices and zero carbon emissions this is the way for the future.
