Chalfont Line has been operating services for NHS Trusts and various Primary Care Trusts since 1993. This includes Patient Transport Services, G.P. Link Services and Facility Management, at the same time offering comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff in all the services provided. During theses years we have learnt a great deal about hospital services and believe in any contract we undertake that a partnership of ideas and knowledge is the way forward as we are all here to benefit the patient.
We constantly monitor our service standards and have regular Service Quality Meetings with the NHS Trust and PCT management and users to continue improving our services.
Chalfont line is very much involved with future technical innovation, as operators of a large amount of vehicles we like many other people are concerned with pollution. We believe that companies that use fuel to pollute have a responsibility to look at ways to reduce this. We have always and will continue to be innovative in our outlook and have been looking at ways this can be achieved. We ourselves are hoping to introduce our first electric accessible vehicle in the near future.
We are the holders of an international/national PCV (Public Carriage Vehicle) Operators Licence as well as the new PHV (Private Hire Vehicle) Licence and operate many sizes of vehicles all of which are accessible for the wheelchair user.
Working closely with our partners, we currently operate and offer Transport and Associated Service requirements such as:
- Non Emergency Patient Transport Service ( admissions and discharges from hospitals and clinics, outpatient appointments, day centres, day surgery units etc. )
- GP Link, Postal Deliveries and Laboratory Services
- Management information and performance reports
- Fuel cards and management reports
- Short and Long term bespoke vehicle rental
